Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Epic Applications Coordinator to join a large healthcare organization. The role focuses on configuring and optimizing Epic, translating business needs into effective system solutions, and coordinating with EHR and operations teams.

Responsibilities include testing plans, validating Epic releases, and communicating changes to end users for smooth adoption. 5 years of Epic builds experience and a relevant degree or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

5 years of experience as an Epic Applications coordinator with Epic builds.
Epic Certification or proficiency in EpicCare Link or PlanLink.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, or Business or 7 years of experience in lieu of the degree.
Experience with database management and basic software configuration.

Responsibilities

Configure and optimize Epic applications by translating business and clinical requirements into system solutions.
Make system configuration changes, troubleshoot issues, and liaise between the EHR team and stakeholders.
Analyze workflows, reporting needs, data integrity, and system functionality to support Epic environment optimization.
Develop and execute test plans, evaluate Epic releases, and communicate changes to end users.
