Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an Epic Analyst focused on the Healthy Planet module to join our Epic Healthy Planet application team. You will support Risk Adjustment/HCC and Compass Rose workflows, with emphasis on design, build, testing, and ongoing maintenance across Emory Healthcare.

Candidates should hold Healthy Planet and Ambulatory certifications, have a Bachelor's degree, and at least 3 years of healthcare IT experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent field.
Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in clinical, business, or healthcare operational areas (or 5 years with no degree).
Epic certification in the relevant area obtained within 90 days of hire or training completion.
Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
Experience with Epic Healthy Planet workflows, Risk Adjustment/HCC, and related modules.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, validate, maintain and support Epic Healthy Planet.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve goals.
Represent the Emory Digital team and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Mentor other analysts and support project management activities.
Provide Epic and other applications support, security, and ongoing maintenance.
Assist with Epic Security assignments and templates where appropriate.
Provide on-call coverage as scheduled and follow IS project management protocols.
Stay current on Epic version training and certifications.
