Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an Epic Analyst with a focus on the Healthy Planet module to support Epic Healthy Planet workflows, risk adjustment/HCC, and Compass Rose. The role requires Healthy Planet and Ambulatory certifications and will involve collaboration across Emory Digital teams and clinical/financial departments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in healthcare operations or 5 years with no degree, and must obtain Epic certifications within 90 days of training.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of progressive healthcare operations experience, or 5 years with no degree.
Epic certification for the assigned area within 90 days of training.
Working knowledge of the assigned operational department areas.
Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and shift priorities as required.

Responsibilities

Design, build, testing, validation, maintenance and ongoing support of Epic Healthy Planet.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
Maintain positive relationships with Emory co-workers and Epic partners.
Mentor other analysts and provide guidance on methods and processes.
Manage complex projects independently and act as a business partner across service lines.
Provide Epic and related application support, security templates, and build enhancements.
