Hummingbird is seeking an Epic Analyst - Ambulatory to support the EpicCare Ambulatory application for healthcare clients. You will diagnose issues, gather requirements, and implement changes within a collaborative, growth-focused team.

This role emphasizes ownership across ambulatory workflows, participation in Epic upgrades, and delivering high-quality, well-documented solutions while working remotely within the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience delivering scoped analyst work focused on problem solving, requirements gathering, testing, and solution implementation, ideally within Epic.
• Active Epic Ambulatory certification required at time of hire.
• Well-rounded experience across ambulatory workflows, not a single specialty.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate root causes and propose solutions.
• Proficiency documenting requirements, test results, and system changes clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
• A customer-service mindset and comfort working as a trusted vendor partner.
• Demonstrated autonomy, reliability, and initiative to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues by analyzing workflows and data and identify root causes.
• Gather and document requirements from stakeholders and translate to testable specs.
• Build, test, and validate changes to EpicCare Ambulatory and related components.
• Document build decisions, test results, and final changes for compliance.
• Support twice-yearly Epic upgrades including testing and go-live coordination.
• Take on optimization and project work as prioritized by the customer.
• Provide clear updates to stakeholders about progress, risks, and impact.
• Deliver work in line with SLAs and performance expectations.
