Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Professional to support FAA EOSH programs in the Eastern Service Area. You will conduct inspections, interpret reports, and deliver technical EOSH training to employees, while maintaining training and certifications as required.

Responsibilities include reporting under strict deadlines, sampling and reporting of IAQ, asbestos, lead, and other EOSH areas; plus customer service with senior management and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience or master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in environmental, health and safety programs across EOSH.
• Proficient with EOSH field equipment (PID, XRF, dosimeters, etc.).
• Experience obtaining and developing asbestos, IAQ samples and reports.
• Strong MS Office and SharePoint skills; capable of using data systems.

Responsibilities

• Support FAA EOSH programs and perform site inspections and surveys.
• Prepare technical reports with findings and corrective guidance.
• Manage inspections using electronic data and online storage tools.
• Research applicable federal/state/local regulations for EOSH.
• Provide strong problem-solving and customer service to stakeholders.
