Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Area Manager focused on Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation. The role oversees a group of programs to meet KPIs and will be placed across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri.

Candidates will also perform billable work and drive program performance. The position requires 8+ years in related areas, leadership experience, and the ability to manage a ~125 person team while maintaining strong client relationships and project delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Acts as escalation point for project issues and recommends performance improvements.
• Drives financial forecasting (Pro Forma, Path to Plan, Annual Plan) and cash flow monitoring.
• Maintains project management practices per the Project Delivery System and QMS.
• Supports pipeline data integrity in Salesforce and outputs forecasts.
• Manages staffing and succession planning for ~125 staff within the department.
• Partners with Client Account Managers to grow backlog and ensure financial success.
• Leads capture strategies for major pursuits and expands technical capabilities.
