AECOM is seeking an Environmental Engineer in the Washington area to support remediation and environmental projects across the Pacific Northwest. You will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, analyze data, and prepare technical reports while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, adherence to budgets and schedules, and the ability to travel to project sites. AECOM offers broad benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check per policy.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required; sponsorship not available.

Responsabilités

• Remediation system operation and maintenance.
• Serve as the task lead for environmental projects under the supervision of a Project Manager.
• Coordinate subcontractors and field/support staff.
• Provide project and task support including data analysis, report preparation, cost estimating, remedial action planning, and design support.
• Gather and correlate engineering data using established procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions using established methods and innovative approaches.
• Perform routine engineering assignments involving calculations and evaluations.
• Execute work within budgets and schedules with minimal supervision.
• Support environmental investigation and remediation projects throughout Washington and the Pacific Northwest.
• Conduct field work to assist with remediation system operations, maintenance, monitoring, and sampling.
