Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Remediation Team Lead for a hybrid Wisconsin role, combining office and remote work. The position focuses on guiding soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water cleanup projects, with emphasis on coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing client expectations.

You will oversee work plans, ensure projects stay on time and on budget, and apply regulatory requirements while contributing to business development and proposals within the environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field and 6+ years of environmental remediation experience.
• Background check and motor vehicle records check.
• Professional certification preferred (e.g., PE/Geologist, PMP).

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the preparation of work plans and organizing project studies.
• Interfacing directly with technical project managers and project teams to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Understanding and incorporating client requirements in the management of projects, including commercial contract terms, change management processes, financial performance KPIs.
• Using client and AECOM-prescribed tools to track and manage financial aspects of projects.
• Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet budgetary objectives, while adjusting project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Wisconsin state regulatory requirements and environmental standards is preferred.
