Job summary

APTIM is seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Project Manager to join our team of engineers, scientists, and technicians committed to safely solving environmental concerns. This role is remote with 10–20% travel and involves Phase I/II assessments, scope development, planning, oversight, and invoicing from proposal to project close.

You will supervise projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure safety compliance while delivering high-quality outcomes for government, industrial, and retail clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Project Management, Environmental Engineering, or another Science degree.
• 10–20 years of project execution/management and personnel management in environmental industry.
• Strong organizational and tracking skills to manage 30+ projects over time.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects across multiple states (TN, GA, FL, TX, KY, AL).
• Oversee client projects from proposal through execution and invoicing.
• Manage budgets from $500K and up.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Develop and execute varied work scopes while preserving schedules and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff and uphold health and safety policies.
