Job summary

HydroGeoLogic, Inc. seeks an Environmental Program Manager to lead EPA Region 6 contracts, oversee project managers, and ensure delivery aligned with client expectations and contract requirements. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, staff mentoring, and cross‑department coordination.

The position may be remote with travel to project sites and HGL offices, with preference for candidates in EPA Region 6 (AR, LA, NM, OK, TX).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience including 5 years managing large government contracts.
• Experience managing EPA Region 6 clients and working with state and local agencies in EPA Region 6.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Project for scheduling and management.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities including mentoring staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with ability to balance big picture and project details.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPA program and direct all EPA-related contracts and CLIN project managers within Region 6.
• Mentor staff to provide guidance and professional development.
• Coordinate with proposal development, contracts, chemistry, data management, and other departments to support Region 6.
