Job summary

HydroGeoLogic, Inc. seeks an Environmental Project Manager I to support multi-year remediation projects from Reston, VA. You will lead CERCLA/RCRA investigations and oversee reporting for government clients, coordinating teams to meet objectives.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, field coordination, data analysis, and preparing technical documents. You will communicate with clients, regulators, and staff, while adopting digital tools to improve project delivery. Travel ~10%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of EPA/DoD/DOE remediation project experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Strong technical writing, organizational, and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to perform field tasks and data management, report preparation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of CERCLA/RCRA site sampling methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage CERCLA-regulated remediation projects and field investigations.
• Develop project budgets and schedules aligned with milestones.
• Lead project teams to meet objectives with quality expectations.
• Communicate with clients, regulators, teams, and management.
• Analyze environmental and analytical data.
• Prepare/remedial investigation reports and related deliverables.
• Procure subcontractors and oversee field teams.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support business development and proposal efforts.
• Supervise project staff and travel approx. 10%.
