Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Construction Superintendent to oversee environmental remediation projects across the United States. You will direct onsite crews, manage schedules, budgets, and safety, and coordinate with subcontractors to meet project goals.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of supervisor-level experience in environmental remediation or related fields, with strong leadership, communication, and cost-control skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of supervisor-level experience in environmental remediation, heavy civil, demolition, mining, dredging, or general contracting

Responsibilities

• Enforce Health and Safety Plans with site team
• Review hazards and participate in Job Hazard Analysis
• Plan pre-task activities and field schedules
• Coordinate field activities for crafts and equipment
• Supervise productivity and ensure schedule and budget compliance
• Manage timecards and reporting of hours/tasks
• Assist in planning workforce, materials, and subcontractor scheduling
• Mentor direct reports and subcontractors
• Use cost control systems to improve performance
• Promote GHD Safety Culture onsite
