Job summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to perform due diligence services across varied property types, including multifamily, retail, office, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities include field assessments, interviews, and research with reports following ASTM E2018 and E1527 standards.

This fully remote, work-from-home role will mainly serve clients in Los Angeles, CA, with up to 50% local travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of professional experience in engineering and due diligence consulting, construction, facilities management, or other real estate consulting services.
• Experience or familiarity with obtaining data needed to complete ASTM E1527 ESAs and PCAs to ASTM E2018 standards required

Responsibilities

• Conduct site reconnaissance, interviews, and independent research
• Prepare deliverables with quality supporting documentation (site figures, appendices)
• Travel on short notice (one week or less) will be required at times

Skills

3-5+ years engineering experience

Field travel experience

ASTM E1527 knowledge

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field
