Job summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to perform due diligence on diverse commercial properties, including multifamily, retail, office, and industrial facilities. You will conduct field assessments, interviews, and research, delivering reports such as PCAs, PNAs, and Phase I ESAs.

This remote, work-from-home role supports clients primarily in the Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC markets, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of professional experience in engineering and due diligence consulting, construction, facilities management, or other real estate consulting services.
• Experience with ASTM E1527 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) to ASTM E2018 standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site reconnaissance, interviews, and independent research.
• Prepare deliverables with quality supporting documentation (site figures, appendices).
• Travel on short notice (one week or less) will be required at times.
