Remote Project Engineer — Due Diligence & Field Assessments

Job summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to perform due diligence field assessments across commercial properties, including multifamily, retail, office, self-storage, manufacturing, and industrial facilities.

You will prepare reports to ASTM E2018 and E1527 standards, participate in data collection, interviews, and independent research, and travel up to 50% while working remotely on client projects primarily in Philadelphia, PA and nearby markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in engineering and due diligence consulting, construction, facilities management, or other real estate consulting services.
• Experience with ASTM E1527 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) to ASTM E2018 standards required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site reconnaissance, interviews, and independent research
• Prepare deliverables with quality supporting documentation (site figures, appendices)
• Travel on short notice (one week or less) will be required at times
