Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Manager, Environmental Construction to oversee day-to-day environmental construction activities for solar, wind, and storage projects. You will serve as the primary link between field teams, EPC contractors, and the Environmental department, ensuring compliance and on-time delivery.

The role is remote with travel up to 70%. Salary ranges from $115,000 to $136,000 per year, with eligibility for an annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in environmental construction and/or construction management in wind/solar energy.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience managing environmental compliance scope or programs, including vendor/contractor coordination.
• Working knowledge of SWPPP implementation and biological clearance requirements.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations (e.g., Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, SPCC).
• Ability to travel up to 70% as required.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day construction activities across solar, wind, and/or storage projects to ensure schedule, budget, and quality.
• Serve as primary liaison between field teams and Environmental department for permit conditions and compliance plans.
• Oversee EPC contractors and subcontractors, including performance monitoring and scheduling.
• Lead pre-construction reviews and communicate requirements to field crews and contractors.
• Coordinate resolution of environmental issues (stormwater, spills, habitat, species protection).
• Conduct regular field inspections and provide corrective action recommendations.
• Manage external consultants and budget, ensuring quality of reports and submissions.
• Track and report progress, variances, and compliance status to management.
• Enforce corporate construction and environmental policies and regulatory requirements.
