Clearway Energy is seeking a Manager, Environmental Construction to oversee day-to-day construction management for solar, wind, and storage projects, ensuring SWPPP, SPCC, and biological clearance compliance in the field.

This is a remote role with travel up to 70%. You will coordinate with EPCs, manage budgets and schedules, and administer environmental policies, reporting progress to leadership.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years in environmental construction or construction management for renewable energy projects.
• At least 2 years overseeing environmental compliance scope or programs.
• Knowledge of SWPPP, biological clearance, and environmental permit conditions.
• Familiarity with Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, SPCC and related regulations.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities to meet schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Serve as primary liaison between field teams and Environmental department on permit conditions.
• Manage EPCs and subcontractors, monitor performance, schedules, and inspections.
• Lead pre-construction planning for environmental permits and SWPPP requirements.
• Coordinate resolution of environmental issues with Environmental team.
• Conduct regular field inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage external consultants, budgets, and report submissions for review.
• Track progress, budget variances, and compliance status to management.
• Enforce corporate construction and environmental policies and regulatory requirements.
