Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Manager, Environmental Construction to oversee day-to-day construction management for solar, wind, and storage projects while ensuring environmental compliance with SPCC, SWPPP, permits, and biology requirements on site.

This remote role requires travel up to 70% and near-term coordination with EPC teams and the Environmental department to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in environmental construction and/or construction management in wind/solar energy
• 2+ years of experience managing environmental compliance scope or programs
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of SWPPP implementation and biological clearance requirements
• Knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, SPCC)
• Hazardous and non-hazardous materials handling, storage and disposal knowledge

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day construction activities across solar, wind, and storage projects to meet schedule and budget
• Serve as primary contact between field teams and Environmental department on permit conditions and compliance
• Oversee EPC contractors and subcontractors with performance monitoring and QC inspections
• Lead pre-construction planning reviews including environmental permit conditions and SWPPP requirements
• Coordinate resolution of construction-related environmental issues with Environmental team
• Conduct regular field inspections and provide corrective action recommendations
