Job summary

Retell AI Inc. is seeking a Support Engineer (Contract) to help enterprise customers deploy and scale voice AI agents. You will onboard customers, design integrations, and troubleshoot live deployments alongside product, engineering, and customer success teams.

You will work remotely with overlap to Pacific Time and engage with customer IT, security, and engineering teams to ensure smooth launches and ongoing performance. Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and telephony-friendly tech is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 2-8 years of relevant engineering or technical support experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and reading logs to find root causes.
• Clear communication to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Availability for meaningful overlap with Pacific Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Get enterprise customers live and scaling: onboard, review architecture, go-live and ramp.
• Build voice agents with customers: prompts, flows, knowledge bases, and integrations.
• Debug and resolve production issues: call quality, latency, transcripts, and API/webhook problems.
• Shape the product: capture feedback and collaborate with Product/Engineering on new features.
