Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Senior Technology Portfolio Manager - Execution to lead intake, portfolio planning, and execution coordination for SWCA's strategic technology initiatives.

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Technology Engagement, you will govern the portfolio, coordinate delivery with business and tech leaders, coach PMs, and support enterprise strategy execution; this is a distributed role with 5-10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.
• Eight years leading technology portfolios, programs, or projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience coaching project managers and building accountable execution practices.
• Experience with demand intake, portfolio management, prioritization, roadmap development, capacity planning, and governance.
• Ability to evaluate forecasts and communicate investment tradeoffs.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, and predictive delivery.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with architects, product owners, and business leaders in matrixed environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake triage and discovery aligned with governance framework.
• Maintain integrated portfolio roadmap aligned with strategy and outcomes.
• Oversee governance, delivery approaches, budgets, and risks.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and decision readiness.
• Develop and coach project managers for execution excellence.
• Elevate issues to senior leadership for resolution.
