Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Senior Technology Operations Manager to join our Technology Group. Reporting to the CDIO, you will be the operational partner responsible for IT finance, procurement, vendor management, and asset governance across the technology portfolio.

This full-time, remote-friendly role blends strategic budgeting with hands-on policy development, dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• Eight years of experience in technology operations, IT finance, procurement, or asset management.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships.
• Strong supervisory and leadership experience.
• Experience using AI to enable efficiencies with large data sets.
• Knowledge of software licensing, SaaS, and asset management.
• Ability to translate complex information into executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT finance, budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, renewals, and vendor negotiations.
• Govern vendor management and performance reviews.
• Direct software licensing and hardware asset management.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting.
• Drive process automation and operational maturity.
