Job summary

Red Hat, Inc. is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager for Project Lightwell in a remote-capable role across the U.S.

You will serve as a security SME, advising on Java/Python/JavaScript development practices and Red Hat Enterprise products, while mentoring customers and coordinating with engineering and support teams. You will establish high-value relationships with stakeholders, guide security best practices, and assist with incident response and proactive monitoring.

Qualifications

• Associates' or Bachelor's degree in computer science or a technical discipline
• Red Hat Certified: RHCE (RHCA preferred)
• Security Certifications (CISSP/CCSP/CompTIA Security+ or similar) preferred
• 10+ years in security, customer support, development, engineering, or QA

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Product Security and customers to address security needs
• Mentor security and operations staff on best practices for RH software
• Coordinate with engineering and support teams to debug, test, and resolve issues
• Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers and manage expectations
• Support incident response and proactive security monitoring activities
• Help accelerate software development lifecycle and OS patching at scale
