Job summary

Branch is seeking an Enterprise Engineer to join our Data team. You will architect and build interconnected systems that power internal tools and AI workflows, using MCP servers, internal APIs, and lightweight web apps.

You will develop Python-based solutions, deploy and maintain high-impact, in-house tooling, and collaborate across teams to ensure clarity, maintainability, and reliable automation in a small, high-trust environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Python experience
• 1+ years of full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain MCP servers that expose data platform capabilities to internal tools and AI workflows
• Build internal APIs to enrich the ecosystem of programmatically addressable resources
• Build lightweight web apps and dashboards using Streamlit
• Develop stateful applications that ensure SOP of various processes are followed
• Develop and maintain automated workflows and pipelines in Python
• Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to a culture of technical quality
