Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 10+ years of applied Python development in enterprise environments.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale production applications with high uptime requirements.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases like Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, including query tuning and schema design.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, development lifecycle, testing, release and operations.
• Proven ability across system design, application development, automated testing, and operational support.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, resiliency patterns, and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end design, development, and advanced troubleshooting for complex Python applications.
• Develop secure, production-ready Python code for distributed systems with concurrency and observability in mind.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts ensuring performance and enterprise standards.
• Develop and optimize data processing logic for large datasets for batch and near-real-time workloads.
• Gather and analyze large datasets to drive improvements in product reliability and cost.
• Develop reporting, dashboards, and data visualizations as needed for stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve coding standards and system reliability.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Contribute to Agile practices and CI/CD processes with robust testing, rollback, and monitoring.
