Job summary

Harbor Freight Tools is seeking an Associate Project Manager, Enterprise Project Management to help manage a portfolio from conception to launch, covering design, testing, packaging, and manufacturing.

You will liaise with multiple departments across the organization to keep projects moving, building relationships with stakeholders such as Category Management, Global Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Packaging & Branding, Manuals, and external Vendors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Manager and Project Management Director to assist with project and program planning, organization and management.
• Assist with project maintenance, revisions and issue resolution.
• Assist with development of presentation material for meetings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels to proactively manage tasks.
• Analyze and resolve project roadblocks and communication within projects.
• Manage vendor communication for packaging and manuals proof collection tasks and revisions.
• Optimize timing between product, packaging and manuals; ownership of end to end timing of internal approvals for manuals and structural packaging.
• Build and maintain reports as specified by Project Managers, Project Management Directors.
• Assist with projects and system administration for PM team as needed.
• Evaluate and elevate project risks / delays to the project manager.
• Ensure critical information is accurate and consistent for various teams.
• Assume other duties and PM responsibilities as needed or assigned by manager.
