Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred.
• 5 years of clinical Oncology experience required.
• Oncology Nurse Navigator experience preferred.
• OCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads development of standards and methodology to identify patients at the appropriate point within their cancer journey to receive care coordination services as facilitated through an Oncology Patient Navigator (OPN).
• Oversees and implements system-wide processes to assess needs and provide access to resources for cancer patients with smooth patient transfers.
• Develops and monitors performance management oversight programs for the OPNs and conducts annual reviews.
• Collaborates with data warehouse/registry, administration and IT to design and implement navigation tracking metrics.
• Organizes multidisciplinary conferences with Oncology Registry and supports educational programs for navigators.
