Job summary

Preql Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity.

You will manage enterprise accounts by building semantic models for finance logic and integrating data across systems while steering deployment and collecting product feedback. You will own outcomes for a portfolio of accounts, develop semantic models for revenue recognition and cost allocation, and translate finance language into actionable data models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production data experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses: Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
• Experience modeling financial data and working with enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Own business outcomes for a portfolio of enterprise accounts from kickoff through production and expansion.
• Develop semantic models for finance logic, including revenue recognition and cost allocation.
• Facilitate working sessions with finance teams to translate finance language into data models.
