Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Enterprise Data Analyst to turn firm and client data into clear, actionable insights, primarily via Power BI dashboards and reports. The role starts within a key business unit and expands to serve multiple practice groups over time.

Strong data storytelling and AI tooling experience are valued for high-impact analytics. The ideal candidate will have a quantitative degree and 3+ years in data analysis, with advanced Power BI and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, economics, computer science, information design, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years in data analysis, BI, or related analytical role (entry to mid levels considered).
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI (production dashboards).
• Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience with large datasets.
• Proficiency with Python statistical tools.
• Experience with data warehouses, databases, and modern BI/data platforms.
• Strong data storytelling and client-facing presentation skills.
• Experience with statistical modeling, regression analysis, NHST.
• Ability to independently scope and lead complex data analysis projects.
• Experience analyzing financial and operational performance metrics and drivers.
• Fluent ability to translate data into clear business implications.
• Comfort with large datasets and data quality standards.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and clients; client-service mindset.
• Able to operate at strategic and tactical levels; thrive under pressure and shifting priorities.
• Contribute to growth of enterprise data analytics function; awareness of data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards for firm-wide reporting.
• Create self-service reports and visualizations in Power BI and Tableau for diverse audiences.
• Tell a data-driven story to stakeholders and clients; drive action.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Information Design, and Engineering to deliver analytics across media.
• Streamline reporting processes for timely, accurate metrics.
• Partner with Data Engineering to source, integrate, and validate data.
• Develop data quality standards and document data sources and methodologies.
• Support cross-functional teams across the Firm; align with objectives and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale analytics; contribute to enterprise capabilities growth.
• Engage in research to improve reporting and BI delivery.
