Job summary

Random Bit is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead cross‑enterprise architectural efforts, aligning business needs with IT strategy across the Health and Human Services domain. You will develop current and future state views of business and IT processes, guiding modernization initiatives within EA guidelines.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects, drive architectural patterns and SOA principles, and ensure secure, standards‑driven solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
8+ years enterprise architecture experience.
Knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL, ISO standards, FEA, MITA, etc.
Experience with architecture models in Health and Human Services (SparxEA, ArchiMate).
Desirable: Data Management, Data Architecture and Data Governance in Health and Human Services.
Desirable: rudimentary cloud architecture understanding.
Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
Ability to collaborate closely with others and prevent or reduce conflict.

Responsibilities

Recommends and participates in design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture.
Develops long-term strategic and operating plans and delivery roadmaps.
Develops data management strategy, data architecture, and data governance processes.
Designs and implements standards, tools and methodologies and leads adoption.
Identifies areas for further study and participates in Proof of Concept projects.
Collaborates with projects to ensure conformance with EA, SOA and software patterns.
Ensures technology solutions are secured per Identity Management and Access Control standards.
