Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking an Enterprise Applications Area Manager to lead manufacturing, HR, security, and OT systems. You will guide the lifecycle of key applications, partnering with domain stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable roadmaps and priorities.

You will oversee incident, problem, and change management while directing a distributed team of on-site and remote staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, eng, business, or related field.
• 10+ years leading multi-disciplinary IT or application support teams.
• Experience with enterprise-level applications (HRIS, security platforms, or large-scale business systems).
• Experience managing remote team members in distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for enterprise applications across manufacturing, HR, security, and OT environments.
• Own the lifecycle of supported applications from planning to retirement to ensure reliability, performance and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into roadmaps and priorities.
• Ensure configurations, integrations, and data flows are stable, secure, and well-documented.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management for enterprise applications.
• Lead a remote and on-site staff, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Establish and monitor service levels and performance metrics; drive improvements in availability and user satisfaction.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, infrastructure and OT teams to ensure secure, compliant environments.
• Guide projects involving new deployments, enhancements, and modernization across domains.
• Develop standards and documentation for support, change control, and configuration management.
• Plan resource allocation and vendor relationships for enterprise applications.
