Director, Global Enterprise Applications

Preferred locations: Trevose, PA, or Grand Rapids, MI

Travel: Up to 20% domestic and international

Reporting into the Vice President, Global Information Technology, the Director, Global Enterprise Applications will lead the strategy, governance, delivery, support, and continuous improvement of our global enterprise application portfolio.

This position will serve as a strategic technology and business partner, ensuring our enterprise systems support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, business growth, and digital transformation. The Director will lead a global team responsible for the systems supporting manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, human resources, engineering, customer experience, and analytics.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute a global enterprise applications strategy in partnership with the VP, Global IT.
• Advise executive leadership and business stakeholders on technology investments, application modernization, process improvement, and emerging technologies.
• Lead the enterprise application portfolio, including ERP, MES, QMS, PLM, supply chain, warehouse management, human capital management, analytics, integration platforms, and customer-facing applications.
• Oversee the complete application lifecycle, including system selection, implementation, upgrades, integration, support, optimization, and retirement.
• Establish effective application governance, portfolio prioritization, resource planning, and performance‑management processes.
• Lead technology workstreams supporting business transformation, global process standardization, acquisitions, and systems integration.
• Partner with Quality, Regulatory, and Security teams to ensure applications support system validation, regulatory compliance, risk management, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain leaders to improve manufacturing, planning, quality, inventory, procurement, fulfillment, and Industry 4.0 capabilities.
• Execute data, analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives aligned with Oliver’s broader enterprise technology strategy.
• Manage enterprise application budgets, technology vendors, licensing agreements, consultants, and managed service providers.
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing global team of application leaders, architects, analysts, developers, administrators, and external partners.
• Lead organizational change‑management efforts and support the successful adoption of new technologies and business processes.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight or more years of progressive experience leading enterprise applications, ERP, or business systems organizations.
• Five or more years of leadership experience managing teams and large‑scale technology programs.
• Significant experience supporting manufacturing operations, preferably within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise transformation, application modernization, and business process improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting global ERP environments and integrated business systems.
• Experience managing technology budgets, strategic roadmaps, vendors, consultants, and service providers.

This role operates in a hybrid environment and requires regular collaboration across global offices and manufacturing facilities. Occasional evening or weekend work may be needed to support critical initiatives or system deployments. Domestic and international travel of up to 20% is required.
