Job summary

Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking an Enterprise Application Developer II for a fully remote role within one of our payroll states. You will design, develop, test, and maintain complex research software applications while providing technical leadership to the development team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of development experience, strong communication, and a track record in SaaS environments, reporting tools like SSRS, and data integration from multiple databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5 years of progressive development experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to explain complex concepts.
• Experience with business processes or management software is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead projects end-to-end in a full lifecycle environment.
• Experience in SaaS environments and data reporting with multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and maintain moderately complex applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development staff.
• Contribute to development standards and process improvements.
• Serve as a primary contact for business applications projects and customizations.
• Analyze and optimize existing applications and processes; resolve issues.
• Collaborate with users and technical staff to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
