Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an Application Developer to join a fully remote team serving healthcare clients across the United States. The role focuses on coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software while enhancing existing systems to meet client needs.

You will gather requirements, analyze systems, design and write specifications, and participate in QA activities. A minimum of 3 years in programming or software testing with SQL, C, Linux, and IWS is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in programming or software testing.
• Experience with SQL, C programming, Linux and IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS).
• Experience with relational databases and SQL for development, testing and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs; modify products/systems for clients.
• Gathers system information, analyzes requirements, and prepares change documentation.
• Researches and analyzes existing systems under supervision; designs programs for projects or enhancements.
• Writes specifications for low to moderate complexity programs.
• Assists in resolving production issues and suggests alternatives.
• Develops test plans and documents test results; conducts QA activities.
