Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks an enterprise AI/GenAI architect to translate business goals into a prioritized technology roadmap. You will partner with executives to identify high-value AI opportunities, define guardrails, and drive responsible AI practices across the portfolio.

You will speak fluently in business value and technical feasibility, evaluate platforms, and guide architecture decisions without owning detailed design. Strong communication and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering/business.
• 8+ years in technology strategy, EA, or tech consulting.
• 3+ years in AI/GenAI transformation initiatives.
• Ability to translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and influence executives.
• Experience embedding Responsible AI and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and evangelize the enterprise AI and GenAI vision and translate business strategy into a technology roadmap.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities and build the case for investment, including ROI and risk trade-offs.
• Bridge between business leadership and technical teams to articulate business value and technical feasibility.
• Set enterprise-level AI architecture guardrails and evaluate platforms, models, and tooling for enterprise fit and scalability.
• Define Responsible AI principles and partner with legal/compliance to meet governance standards.
• Build executive-level presentations to communicate AI strategy and value to senior stakeholders.
• Drive AI adoption and literacy across business and technical teams.
• Align AI strategy across cross-functional and offshore/onshore teams for reuse and coherence.
