Job summary

Genesys is seeking a senior platform engineer to shape the enterprise AI platform ecosystem, driving scalability, security, and governance across tools and integrations. You will influence platform architecture and enterprise adoption while partnering with engineering, security, legal, and business leaders.

In a remote US-based role, you will guide platform engineering standards at scale, turning AI capability into reliable infrastructure and strategic investments for the company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or IT operations in enterprise environments.
• At least 4 years building/administering enterprise SaaS platforms at scale with 1–2 years in AI platforms.
• Influence architecture and roadmap decisions through hands-on design and advisory work.
• Experience building internal platforms with self-service tooling, APIs, SDKs, and IaC.
• Expertise in IAM, audit logging, and governance for cloud systems.
• Mentoring engineers and setting technical standards across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and evolution of the enterprise AI platform ecosystem.
• Drive platform strategy with build-vs-buy, cost modeling, and risk evaluation.
• Design self-service platform capabilities to accelerate enterprise adoption of AI tools.
• Build/API/SKD and IaC solutions enabling scalable integrations.
• Transition to automated, API-driven platform operations to reduce friction.
• Establish scalable IAM, audit logging, and governance frameworks.
• Translate usage and telemetry into procurement, roadmap, and strategy insights.
• Lead incident response and monitoring to improve reliability.
