Job summary

Genesys is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to shape and govern the enterprise AI platform ecosystem. You will collaborate with engineering, security, legal, and business leaders to scale AI capabilities, delivering reliable, well-governed infrastructure across the enterprise.

In this high-visibility role, you’ll influence platform engineering standards, drive self-service tooling and APIs, and steer investments to enable broad enterprise adoption of AI tools at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or IT operations in enterprise environments.
• 4+ years building/administering enterprise SaaS platforms at scale with AI experience.
• Ability to influence architecture and roadmap via hands-on design and advisory work.
• Strong in building internal platforms: self-service tooling, APIs, SDKs, IaC.
• Deep expertise in IAM, audit logging, governance for cloud systems.
• Mentoring engineers and driving technical standards across teams.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting platforms (Datadog, PagerDuty, CloudWatch).
• Experience administering enterprise AI platforms (ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Cursor).

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and evolution of the enterprise AI platform ecosystem for scalability and security.
• Drive platform strategy with build-vs-buy, cost modeling, and risk evaluation.
• Design self-service platform capabilities to accelerate adoption of AI tools.
• Build and standardize internal APIs, SDKs, and IaC solutions for scalable integrations.
• Lead automation to transition from manual to API-driven platform operations.
• Establish IAM, audit logging, and governance to strengthen security and compliance.
• Translate usage and cost telemetry into actionable procurement and roadmap insights.
• Lead incident response strategy and monitoring to improve reliability.
