Job summary

Navitus is seeking an Engineer, Enterprise AI in Austin (remote-friendly) to design, build, and operate enterprise AI capabilities that enable scalable AI adoption across the organization. You will work with the Enterprise AI Architect to translate architecture into production-ready AI services, integrations, and tooling, ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on developing AI workflows, model deployment pipelines, contexts, and governance, partnering with Platform/Data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Certification/Licenses: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Machine Learning – Specialty, or equivalent cloud-based AI/ML certification preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in software development, platform engineering, or machine learning engineering with 2-4 years hands-on AI/ML production experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise AI solutions and services that enable scalable adoption of generative AI, ML, and agentic AI across the organization.
• Implement enterprise AI architecture patterns and standards defined by the Enterprise AI Architect.
• Develop and support AI integration patterns connecting AI with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and cloud services.
• Build and maintain AI-enabled services and components, including model interfaces, orchestration services, agent frameworks, and reusable AI tooling.
• Support implementation of Agentic AI workflows, including orchestration, tool integration, context management, and human-in-the-loop capabilities.
• Implement and maintain AI operational capabilities (MLOps/LLMOps) including deployment pipelines, monitoring, observability, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure AI solutions align with governance, responsible AI standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support AI platform development and enablement with Platform/Data Engineering teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
