Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from anywhere, on your own schedule. You will roleplay conversations with AI voice models, compare images and videos, and explain what went wrong, remotely and flexibly.

Contributors help shape AI behavior by identifying errors, rating outputs for realism and quality, and providing written explanations. This 1099 freelance opportunity offers weekly payments and access to leading LLMs.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful and clear each sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concise explanation in English detailing what you saw or heard.
• Labeling tasks across image, video, and audio evaluations and ensuring high-quality judgments.
