Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media and explain what’s off. You will role-play live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video pairs, and explain your judgments remotely on your own schedule.

Work fully remotely with flexible hours. Earn up to $18 per hour, with additional incentives and free access to leading LLMs worth $200+/month.

Qualifications

Ideal Qualifications include fluent English, sharp observation, and clear written explanations.
Attention to detail and comfort with analyzing media performance.
Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
Ability to think on your feet and explain decisions clearly.
Currently accepting applicants from multiple countries including the United States.

Responsibilities

Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio misalignment.
Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
