Job summary

Placements24 collaborates with a leading recruitment consultancy to hire an experienced Engineering Recruitment Specialist for a fully remote role in South Africa, ideally near the Eastern Cape. You will source, screen, and place engineering professionals across mechanical, electrical, civil and chemical disciplines.

Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, build strong client relationships, and provide market insights on talent and compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in recruitment with engineering focus.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical engineering fields.
• Proven ability to source niche engineering talent.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing client relationships and recruitment solutions.
• Proficient with ATS and online recruitment platforms.
• Relevant tertiary qualification desirable.
• Able to work autonomously in remote setting.
• Eligible to work remotely in South Africa, ideally Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies to attract niche talent.
• Build relationships with engineering clients and understand project needs.
