Job summary

Macy's is seeking an Associate, Engineering Project Management to oversee and execute large-scale capital material handling and construction projects. This remote role requires conveyor and automation experience and up to 75% travel across the US.

Responsibilities include project ownership, cost control, schedules, testing, turnover, and closeout, coordinating with vendors, operations, and technology teams. This position reports to the Capital Projects department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Heavy travel requirement (75%) and no entry-level experience.
• Remote role with location in the US, based anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project owner and Macy’s lead for large-scale capital material handling equipment and warehouse projects exceeding $100 million.
• Coordinate efforts across vendors, Supply Chain Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Technology.
• Oversee cost control, engineering deliverables, scheduling, testing, go-live activities, turnover, QA, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, identify dependencies and critical path tasks.
• Lead project coordination meetings and maintain communication with all team members.
