Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to own the design and delivery of automated conveyor systems for its logistics network expansion. You will lead sub-system layouts, select equipment, and coordinate with electrical, controls, and structural engineers to ensure integrated solutions.

You will manage mechanical deliverables, participate in field issue resolution, and mentor junior engineers while driving safety and compliance across project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in design, innovation, and development of engineering solutions.
• Experience with material handling equipment and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer drawings and specifications into fully functional mechanical conveyor systems.
• Own 3D modeling and clash detection management for project sub areas.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve layout conflicts and ensure efficient installation.
• Lead installation support and commissioning activities for projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical work.
