Job summary

Horizon3, a fully remote cybersecurity company, is seeking a leader to guide the engineering team responsible for web application discovery and surface enumeration within NodeZero. You will shape crawling capabilities, drive coverage, and align with product and customer needs to ensure reliable testing across diverse environments.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years of leadership in engineering or offensive security, strong coaching instincts, and deep knowledge of web technologies, authentication

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years leading engineering, security, or offensive security teams.
• Experience managing teams of 4–8+ engineers and scaling as the org grows.
• Proven ability to balance hands-on depth with strategic and people responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers specializing in web application discovery, crawling, and surface enumeration.
• Own the team's strategy for discovery within NodeZero, ensuring coverage across pages, forms, APIs, and auth surfaces.
• Partner with Product, Webapp Pent Testing, and architects to shape the technical roadmap and test coverage.
