Canonical is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a global team of Python engineers, largely remote, who build next-generation DevOps tooling for Ubuntu platform operations. You will mentor engineers, drive career growth, ensure high-quality delivery, and contribute hands-on code to critical projects.

You will promote modern agile practices, coordinate with product and operations teams, and shape engineering culture in line with Canonical values.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Python teams and mentoring engineers.
• Strong background in cloud computing and devops.
• Hands-on coding in Python and contributing code.
• Familiar with OpenStack or Kubernetes.
• Experience in distributed, multi-location teams.
