Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team of 7–10 engineers across backend, frontend, QA, and AQA. You will own end-to-end feature delivery, drive sprint planning, estimation, and DoR/DoD, and partner with the Product Manager on backlog priorities. Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial development in .NET/Java/Python.
• 1+ year leading a cross-functional team.
• Experience with microservice architectures and message brokers.
• Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of 7–10 engineers.
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirements to release.
• Run sprint planning, estimation, and DoR/DoD processes.
• Collaborate with Product Manager on backlog priorities.
• Ensure reliability via monitoring and postmortems.
