Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead design, configuration, testing, and startup of process automation and control systems for diverse industries. The role emphasizes independent execution, collaboration, and client-facing delivery across regional sites.

The Senior Engineer will tackle concept development, specifications, design, documentation, and commissioning, while mentoring teammates and advancing automation excellence. Occasional travel to client facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on automation project experience in life sciences or similar industries
• Detail oriented with strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies
• Solid understanding of instrumentation and controls design criteria and codes
• Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA configurations and start-up services
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Experience with object-oriented software development and delivery methodologies
• Experience with virtual server-based control architectures and related networks
• Experience at customer sites during installation and commissioning

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to design, configuration, and testing of continuous and batch control applications
• Develop project schedules and budgets in collaboration with leadership and manage change orders
• Provide expert automation solutions and advisement to clients and project teams
• Travel to client sites for design, development, and startup activities
• Serve as automation Subject Matter Expert and mentor to junior staff
• Uphold core values and support professional development of team members
