Job summary

Camunda is seeking an Engineering Manager for Identity to lead the team building the IAM foundation powering Camunda 8, on‑premise and SaaS. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of IAM components, collaborate with multiple teams, enforce security and reliability, and mentor engineers in a remote environment.

This is a strategic role with impact on growth and customer trust, requiring senior IAM expertise, experience with OIDC/SAML, and a track record delivering large, distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Senior-level depth in IAM and enterprise software.
• Experience leading medium-to-large delivery projects (6 months+).
• Hands-on IAM implementation or integration with OIDC/SAML.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Background in integration-heavy B2B products with security focus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of IAM components across Camunda 8 stack (authentication, authorization, federation).
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams, SREs, QA, and product leadership to define and drive vision.
• Improve reliability: maintain pipelines, fix security issues within SLOs, reduce incidents.
• Grow and coach a team of senior/developing engineers in a remote async environment.
• Help mature SaaS offerings for large-scale enterprise customers with safe integrations.
