Job summary

Camunda is seeking an Engineering Manager for Identity to lead the IAM foundation powering the Camunda 8 platform, both on-premise and SaaS. You will drive end-to-end delivery, coach engineers, and ensure secure, enterprise-ready integration across a complex stack.

You will collaborate with product, design, QA, and sales to shape the platform's evolution and meet customer needs in a remote, asynchronous environment. This is a high-impact, globally distributed role.

Qualifications

• Senior IAM depth with ability to review designs and communicate with stakeholders.
• Led medium-to-large delivery: 3–5 engineers, 6-month projects end-to-end.
• Hands-on IAM design or integration experience with OIDC/SAML.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management for enterprise needs.
• Background in product engineering for integration-heavy B2B products.
• Ability and/or willingness to use Camunda's product.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of reusable IAM components across the Camunda 8 stack.
• Partner with multiple teams to develop a clear technical and product vision and roadmap.
• Improve reliability and efficiency, ship security fixes within SLOs, reduce incidents.
• Grow and coach a team of senior and developing engineers in a remote setting.
• Mature our SaaS offering for large-scale enterprise customers and secure integration with client IAM solutions.
