Camunda is seeking an Engineering Manager for Identity to lead the IAM foundation powering the Camunda 8 platform across on‑prem and SaaS offerings. Qualifications

• Senior-level IAM and enterprise software depth; able to review designs and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proven track record leading medium-to-large delivery; 3–5 engineers, 6‑month projects, remote work.
• Hands-on experience implementing or integrating IAM solutions; understands OIDC and SAML in complex environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; translate business requirements into engineering plans.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of reusable IAM components across Camunda 8.
• Partner with engineering teams, SRE, QA, and Product Leadership to drive a clear vision and roadmap.
• Raise reliability and efficiency: maintain pipelines, ship security fixes within SLOs, reduce incidents.
• Grow and coach a team of senior and developing engineers; foster autonomy and accountability in a remote setup.
• Mature our SaaS offering for large-scale enterprise customers and ensure seamless integration with client IAM solutions.
