You will balance leadership with hands-on development, collaborating with product to define roadmaps and driving best practices across the stack. This remote role requires US time-zone availability and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of full-stack experience, with ≥1 year in people management.
• Hands-on leader who mentors while coding.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Python, and Kotlin or Go; Java, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD.
• Experience with early-stage startups and govtech/public sector products.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants in engineering workflows.
• Willing to work US time zones and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–7 software engineers.
• Define and deliver the technical roadmap for core products.
• Spend 20%–30% of time coding, reviewing code, and shaping architecture.
• Guide architecture decisions for scalable and maintainable systems.
• Promote code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering ownership.
